Using the Analysis Panel
The Three Steps
The Analysis Panel has three tabs at the top: Claims review step, Prior art mapping step, and Rejection analysis step. Each provides a different lens on your case.
Step 1: Claims review step
The Claims review step shows all claims organized by dependency. Independent claims appear at the top level, with dependent claims nested below. Each claim shows its status (rejected, allowed, objected) and the applicable statute (101, 102, 103, 112). Click any claim to see its full text with amendment markup.
Step 2: Prior art mapping step
The Prior art mapping step maps each claim element to the prior art references cited by the examiner. Rows represent claim elements (preamble, body limitations). Columns represent prior art references. Cell highlighting shows where the examiner asserts a reference teaches a limitation.
Step 3: Rejection analysis step
The Rejection analysis step groups rejections by type and provides AI-generated argument strategies. For each rejection, you see recommendation chips (Amend, Argue, or Both) with confidence scores. Click a chip to see the detailed argument or suggested amendment.
Tips
Use the Analysis Panel alongside the chat. Ask questions like "Why was claim 3 rejected?" or "What arguments can I make against the 103?" and Abigail will respond with context from the visualizer data.
