Filing Forms with Abigail

Supported Forms

Abigail can generate several USPTO forms: Information Disclosure Statement (IDS), Request for Continued Examination (RCE), Terminal Disclaimer, Extension of Time, and more. Navigate to the Forms page from the sidebar.

Generating a Form

Select the form type you need and the associated application. Abigail pre-fills the form with data from your prosecution history. Review the generated fields, make any corrections, and approve for filing.

IDS Generation

For IDS forms, Abigail automatically lists all prior art references cited in the prosecution history. You can add additional references manually. The form generates the proper SB/08 format.

Approval Workflow

Generated forms go through an approval step before finalization. Review each field carefully. Once approved, the form is saved as a PDF ready for filing through USPTO EFS-Web.
