Understanding Your Credits and Billing

How Credits Work

Abigail uses a credit-based billing system. Every new account receives $25 in free credits. Credits are consumed when you run AI analyses, draft responses, or use other AI-powered features. Browsing your docket, viewing prosecution history, and reading documents do not consume credits.

What Costs Credits

The primary credit consumption comes from AI analysis. When you enter an application number and Abigail runs the 10-expert analysis pipeline, this is the main cost. Drafting responses, generating forms, and running additional analyses also consume credits proportional to the AI compute used.

Checking Your Balance

Your current credit balance is visible in the Settings page under Billing. You can also see a breakdown of recent usage by date and action type.

Purchasing More Credits

When your free credits are used, you can purchase additional credits from the Settings page. Multiple tiers are available depending on your usage volume. Enterprise plans with volume pricing are available for firms processing large numbers of cases.
